I had a carpenter friend build mine from ply, again no slides, candle wax is your friend here.

This is how I get the seats level with the platform.

Love the simple construction of the drawers. One thing that would be a big plus for me is if there was a easy way to secure it to the floor. Some way so that you could install and remove them easily in minutes. Not sure what the solution might be.. maybe nylon straps that tie it down to the seat anchors?

There is an easy way to quickly secure the back to the anchors behind the seats. Pull out the drawers in latch then pull out the platform.
Mine has the 3rd row seats, I have to keep them for the present, if I take the car for a yearly inspection without them, it is an automatic fail!
So, one advantage is I can use a heavy ratchet strap which hooks on the exposed seat hinge supports, this then passes through the top box and ratchets down. The top box has 1 inch metal legs that locate both the drawer and fridge modules, nothing moves now.

I was thinking of using a turnbuckle! I'll get some pictures if I can today. Leaving a long trip, Vegas, Death Valley, Sierra's....
Here's an old thread on my homebrew drawers. No fancy ball bearing slides. 2nd row seat backs used for sleeping.

Thanks for the quote, this is perfect for what I need. I'll PM you dimensions I need, pretty sure they are your standard external dimensions. The height for the folded seats is perfect and I love the simple block of wood. I have a sloppy fit 2x4 on edge now. I just have to make sure it fits well between my 2x Puma mounts. As long as it fits between the fenders, it should fit fine.
Improvement wise, from your end, I would ask for 3/4" ply on the top, bottom and verticals to install a flush L-Track section along the top perimeter, that would allow for 3/8" countersink and leave me with 3/8" of material left to secure the rails and add some rigidity to the sides as I'll be mounting my fridge on top with a drop down slider (about 85lbs total). Additionally the thicker bottom will allow for countersinking bolt heads (about 1/4" tall) to secure it to the 3rd row seat latch bolt holes and I plan on channeling out a 1/2" groove underneath the bottom panel to run a power cable across the cargo area.
Improvements I'd make on my end would be to add a lock to the drawer, nice pop out T-Handle setup like the fancy ones have, and some LED lighting.
