Any ideas?
I have meassured 17,3cm x 10,5cm. That looks to be very close to a stadard double DIN size for car radios ( Measures 4 inches (100 mm) in height and 7 inches (180 mm) in width)

I would love to have some sort of a screen where I run maybe a navigation and a rear view camera. Or maybe just a screen where I can run an android app for navigation.
Not sure what options there is?

Have anyone installed something like this?

I think any headunit from your local car audio supplier would work. Here in Canada I use Crutchfield to search and compare.

Pretty much all modern units have the ability to wire in a camera if not multiple cameras.

You may even be able to get your hands on a wiring harness adapter for that generation of Toyota to save yourself the hassle of splicing things yourself. I've read that most Toyotas in the same generation have similar wiring pin-outs.

As far as brands go, not sure if the offerings are the same in Europe as they are here in North America, but Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC are a few of the bigger names. Regarding specific models, that just comes down to your desired features and what you're willing to spend. Prices can range anywhere from a few hundred to a couple thousand.

Here's what I did.

There are tons of companies making cameras that attach to the license plate frame, like this one:

(Not advocating that one in particular it was just the first hit on crutchfield)

Those are handy as you can follow the license plate light wiring to the interior for your camera.

Pair it up with any double-din stereo with backup camera support.

I know a couple people using the Sony xav-ax1000:

It's no longer in production but you can find them cheap on eBay or pick something current from any reputable brand (or not, you could get a s***ty one on temu for $40 I'm sure).

You have lots of choices here for products that will do the job.

P.S. your head unit may come with some nanny state crap that keeps you out of certain menus unless the stereo is convinced you aren't moving. Should this concept annoy you, you can find defeat devices that you can use to give you full functionality without requiring you to integrate the stereo into a bunch of extra vehicle circuits.
