Door is missing the top? (1 Viewer)

I was going to install some weather stripping when I noticed this door does not have a top like my other early fj doors. It looks original with clean factory edges/bends. What is this please?

that is normal on very early doors. where it meets the hardtop rail, you also wont have the swoop that the later tops had. i'm assuming this is a corrugated top

It is a corrigated top but thought top was added later due to bifold rear door.

Truck Vin is a 65 according to sor site.

65 would have the corrugated top and bifold rear door. Those look like my '65 doors. I attached weather stripping for the top part of the door on the cab frame (top), not the door itself.

You’ll have to cut the top of the door weatherstripping and attach it to the lower hardtop piece.
