If you live in a snowy area, part time might not be the best option. Since you'd be using 4wd high when it snows, you'd still be suffering the vibration. You'd have to have your hubs unlocked in order to escape it.
That said, I am part time and think it's great. Slight improvement in fuel economy, but more importantly it's going to drastically cut down on the amount of front-end maintenance that's needed. Birfs, axle seals, all the bearings in the front axle, U-joint's ect. are going to last much longer.
