Did you try the one in the first post of this thread? I just imported it into a new iPad and it worked for me.
No, I realize what happened. I got a a new phone, moving from an iphone 11 to a iphone 15 pro max and the screen size messed with the layout and it offloaded the Toyota package. I didn't think to check there until after I posted that. That gave me the right data but I still had to move the gauges around and adjust font size to get display right.

Has any of you tried to use Fusion on the diesel version ? I am configuring mine but it tells me that the add-on does not apply to that model

are the layouts in post #1 only for an iphone or will they also work w android? thx

They will work but you may need to drag and move the gauges around to for your screen correctly

Can someone with a 2009 LC kindly let me know if Network E is visible in their setup ?
On mine I can only see A and B, hence no AHC and I would like to know if it is the dongle or the car.

2009 here and it shows as network D having AHC. It's been too long so I don't remember exactly but you have to load the Toyota add-on PID package and perhaps also scan the car ECUs.

I'm hoping someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. JHundyJTex kindly sent me his dashboard stg file. I also downloaded Trailbreaker9413' dashboard stg file. I’m using the iphone OBD Fusion app and keep getting this error message:

OBD Fusion Error.png

In the "Files" on my iphone, I created an "OBD Fusion" folder and then an "Import" subfolder and an "Export" subfolder. I downloaded both of the above-mentioned stg files into the Import folder. When I go through the Import Settings on the OBD Fusion iphone app, I can see the stg folders, I select one (I've tried both the above stg files), then I select only to import "dashboards", then I select "Clear Existing Dashboards" or "Overwrite Existing Dashboards" (I've tried both), and that's when I get the error message shown in the photo above. Has anyone run into this before? It seems my iphone is not allowing OBD Fusion access to these stg files saved in "Files" on my iphone. And this is despite me allowing it--in my iphone's settings under "Files and Folders" in the Privacy and Security settings, I have made sure that OBD Fusion has access to "Files and Folders."

Any ideas?

Try these older posts starting about #55 if you haven’t already. I remember having to fiddle with it for a while - trial and error style. The menus and controls in the app are not logical.
So you have to go to “Settings -> Preferences -> General” and enable the “Use Simple dashboard management” toggle.
Even though I have my OBD Fusion folder in ICloud, the Settings > Menu > Import Settings is set to “File System” (checked). Makes no sense to me but it works. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Maybe @lx200inAR can lend a hand. I mod’d his dashboard for 2018 and his posts were very useful when I set mine up a couple years ago.

Thanks 2HundyJTex. I’ve tried all that up in post #55. I have not tried DropBox. I’ll probably try that. But what year of Toyota’s “enhanced diagnostics” have you purchased? I purchased “Toyota 2018 Enhanced Diagnostics” and “Toyota 1996-2021 Enhanced Diagnostics.” Could it be that you have to have the same year as the person sharing the dashboard?

Is there a way to force an ECU re-scan ? There is no D network on my Fusion after the first scan was done, and the add-on was already active by then.

It might be your OBD cable? I remember I had to update mine as the older firmware didn't support the new PIDs?

I hope not. I just bought a new Veepeak BLE+ and it should quite up to date. I have disabled the fast-polling and am trying to force a re-scan, but cannot find the right place.

For the newbies...from a newbie. i run android. i installed fusion obd fr the Play store and added the '21 Toyota Advanced Diagnostics addon pack ($15). Then I downloaded the .stg file in post 1 here. I opened fusion and went to Settings/(3 dots upper rt)/Import Settings. I checked all boxes except log files. I didnt select any of the Import Options. The result is the new layout is added as a page you can swipe to on the main screen. Customize as you wish. Will test connection later today.

Hope that helps.

Yup, did the same and the import worked flawlessly...it´s just that the readings do not get updated

So what I've seen when importing dashboards is that sometimes the PIDs don't connect properly. I think in the XML code underneath there are arbitrary identifiers that don't mix phone to phone sometimes (this is just a guess). What usually works is to edit the widget and reapply the same PID and it will start working. Kind of sucks, but not too bad.
