No, not needed because gas fumes from the boiling carburetor are not present in the 3FE engine bay.Ok guys, my evap vcv was acting up and in my reading I came across this thread. My 62 DD only has one vcv off the top of the charcoal canister. my current distributor vacuum hose setup has one line from the cabin and the other to the air cleaner behind the maf. Does my dizzy need a vcv if it is electronic and not a vacuum advance? I'm puzzled on this one.
Contact CruiserParts in NH... They swear they test them but they will come used and messy. Pretty cheap tho, $10.I'm looking for one of these right now. Do you still have any available?
