I am 100% on board with the idea of you releasing the bumper as soon as you have the tire carrier ready to go. I can easily add another swing out when I decide what I need to mount on the other side.

Me too!

Hopefully the next few months go quick!! Looking --> to receiving the bumper & installing it. Thx @benc

Benc, for those of us ordering bumper alone is the shipping any sooner? or will it be batched with others?

No sorry, shipping will go in the order of list.

Since I am on the list! YAY! I am wondering how far out you are. Being number 30, I wonder if I have time and scratch to get the front bumper.

I wish I could say for sure but timing is still up in the air a bit.
I'm still working on fine tuning the tire swing out but I think I'm close to production. I will know more once I get a Few together and figure out how long they will take to build.
Lead time on the fronts is 8-12 weeks.

Is there any chance of having the rear kit ready to ship out in time for me to weld it together and install it before HIH? :D

I'm hopping to get a good chunk done before HIH, that is coming up quick though!
There is a chance but no promises

Getting close!
I should have the tire swingout and bumper finalized this week
Here are some pics of the almost finished swing out.

So there seams to be several guys on the list that have changed there mind since the spare will not fit underneath, I have seen a few threads pop up and would ask if you have decided to go another route please let me know.

I will try to explain the reason why I went this route.

#1. There was no way to achieve a high clearance low profile bumper and retain the spare underneath.
#2. There was no way to achieve the lines and shape that you see with the spare underneath.
#3. IMO the main reason to upgrade to an offroad bumper is for clearance and the ability to add swing out accessories to the rear and of course protection, any vehicle that sees much off road use should not have the spare hanging under the vehicle in the stock location exposed to damage and hard to impossible to access in some situations. If the vehicle does not see enough off road use where this could cause an issue and there is no need for swingouts maybe adding a heavy aftermarket rear bumper is not a good mod for your use?
#4. i know some are concerned with the inconvenience of having a swing out on back of a daily driver and with the current options I don't blame you!
My goal with this design is ease of use for everyone, my 100lb wife and 9 year old have no issues operating the swing out.
It literally takes 3 seconds to open and close.
Let's say you get in in out of the rear 20 times a day, that's 1 min out of your day extra to access the rear 20 times.

The swing outs are still removable but I really don't think many will do so once they see how easy it is to get open and closed.

These are just my opinions but hopefully it clears up why I went the route I did.

I understand if the bumper is not for some but if you on the list and don't want to go this route please let me know.
Thanks

Sorry, I meant to jump on the bottom of the list. I'm a firm believer in no butts, no cuts, no coconuts. Please add me to the list, Benc! Thanks.

Benc, do you have a mount set up for the rear camera? I noticed you mentioned very early in this thread that you were going to have one on it?

As much as I want people to drop out so I get bumped up :p, I completely agree with benc when it comes to the spare. I thought I could get away with doing the spare lift and keeping it under. Even with the lift, my 295/70/18 drags everywhere I go. It's ridiculously annoying. I can't wait to get it on the swingout and be able to have a Trasharoo to boot!

I have not gotten my hands on one with the camera yet but I do plan to come up with something.
I would really like to find a better spot to put it than on the tire but not sure if possible.

Speaking for my self, being one of the ones that is on the list for a non-swing out bumper, the spare below does not bother me much as I was planning on fitting it on a roof rack or going with out but having a patch kit.

Benc however is slowly convincing me on the swing outs I think I may change my order from no swing out to at least one swing out for the tire all depending on pricing.

I think Benc's rear 100 series bumper is the best looking bumper for the 100 series bar-none. I think the biggest thing for me is the wait time since I'm so far down the list. I know... i'm inpatient and Benc is sort of a perfectionist which I appreciate and all will be worth the wait. I realize this is bad news for Benc people dropping from the list but good news for me? maybe a bump up on the list :).

Damn....I can't remember where I was on the list before, but #30 seems like it's going to be a little while! It's all good. Gives me time to get the front bumper here!

When putting the front on make sure to add the LX grill guard! That thing makes the LX look very bad ass!
