Sweet! Any profile pics of the tire/hatch distance?
I'll get some tomorrow, it is completly ajustable so it can be mounted as tight as the owner wants, it is also ajustable up or down in and out vertical or angled.

Had the 5ft 105lb wife test the swing out tonight and she aproved! It was very easy to operate for her.
I also took it down some pretty rough roads with no rattles.
These darn slam latches are taking a ton of design and engineering but think I finally got it dialed.
I hope all the late nights and waking up in the middle of the night to go down to the shop to test an idea shows in the final product!

While we are mostly all impatient, don't work yourself out of enjoying this just to get it finished! We've waited this long and really a few more weeks won't mean much to us.

@benc. Will we be seeing a few of these on rigs attending 100s in the Hills, 2016? I'd like to see that slam latch in person. Nice looking work, as usual.

Benc,

The swing out looks interesting and adds some complexity to your rear bumper. Make sure the latch can be un latched if the pull gets out of adjustment or the screws come loose and doesn't work. Maybe an hole can be drilled from below to get to this latch or latch pin to release the swing out if the latch fails.

I am not a big fan of swingouts with the split rear doors we have on the 100. To get in the back of a 100 with two swingouts, it takes four operations...swingout 1 then 2, upper door, lower door. If the rear door was side hinged, i would be more interested in a swing-out.

The latch mecanisim is accessible with the swing out closed.
I have had both single full length swing outs and dual, the single swing is much more cumbersome and inconvenient in most all situations, a well designed dual swingout is superior in most situations IMHO.

Hey Ben, do you have any side shots - showing the departure angle, location of spare, etc. - of the latest design?

I've made my own alternative a wile back! Eventually I'll post a pic!;)
I don't want to hijack this thread but am very interested in alt Trasharoo location - esp since I am def. buying this bumper but not swingouts at first. Can you start another thread and share pics @Get outside?

Well, then you don't want what I did because I built a swing out without the bumper! You want the bumper with no swing arm. Sorry.

Should have the tire rack tomorrow or Friday.
Will get pics soon as I have it together.
The license plate will be relocated on the swing arm and I need to get my hands on backup camera to build a relocation bracket.

I "liked" the post to get my name on the list, but this is dependent on the lead time. I'm looking at rear bumper after lift/tires and probably at or around the same time of your front bumper. You think you might offer a deal for people buying both at the same time? And or with the roof rack too!?

BTW...is it inappropriate to say that these pics are making me chub up a little?

I'll add you now, thanks.
I will likely do some kind of package deal but have to figure out what, there really isn't much room for to much discount but maybe I can through in some accessories.
Time frame is still a little up in the air, right now I'm waiting on the laser cutter to get me the tire rack so I can finalize the design.

I can't wait, but at the same time glad there was a forced delay between the front bumper and the rear. Gave me time to save up the cash, lol

Sorry for the delay guys!
My laser cutter has been slacking!
The bumper is dialed just waiting on the finalized tire carrier, I have been working out a few bugs, I want to make sure everything is perfect before production!
The plan is to get the tire carrier figured out so I can at least get you guys your bumpers and tire swing outs, once those all all shipped I can focus on the accessories for the other side.
Thanks for being patient and I guarantee this bumper will be worth the wait.
