Yeah, more of a hybrid. 4x4labs shell and my tube plate hybrid wings.

Gotcha, I'm putting a 4x4labs rear bumper together for my 100 right now and couldn't help but notice all the similarities there in the attachments, shell, latches, etc. I was thinking of buying another 4x4labs shell to do a Tacoma rear, I know now how that might look!

That bumper looks great! I still think the bolt on swing risers are the best idea ever! You can swap from side to side depending what you are caring back there! Just awesome!

Agreed, I will have to save some pennies, but I'd be glad to have a BenC equipped 100 with from and rear modularized bumpers and slick low profile roof rack.

Thanks guys, I guess I need to get busy. Iv also been looking into some aluminum extrusions with the t-slot for the load supports on the roof rack. Kind of similar to the frontrunner

What size lightbar do you have on this?

So I stopped by the shop that is going to be doing the cutting and bending today. They are still working on the drawing but hopping to have some pieces cut next week. We also talked about having some of the parts keyed so the DIY kits would be pretty fool proof! Looks like powder-coat will be around $150 if any one wants that done let me know. It's taking longer than I had hoped to do this but it will be worth the wait! Thanks for your patience.

Finished up the 4runner bumper today. I'm really liking the new welder!!!

Are you going to finish out the beads? Seems like it might be hard to paint/powder coat if not. I don't know enough about it to say. Otherwise looks great.

Nope, to much heat it will warp and the welds don't look good if you stitch them together. The powder coat will fill it all in nicely and I and the owner like the look of the stitch welds. If I were to weld the whole thing it would need to be tig welded to help prevent warping.

A few pics of the bumper being produced for those that don't want to scroll through all the pages. There will be an option with no winch cut outs for those that don't like them. Also a full guard and small stinger will be offered. If you want something different on the grill guard let me know and we can work out a price.

Are the cutouts strong enough to be used as highlift jack points?

^^^They should be but, I think the sliders or the shackles make a far better hi lift point.

I agree with benc, just from the fact that if you have a pretty lifted suspension and a lot of droop, you may be pressing the limits (jacking range) of your HiLift or other jack to get the tire to clear the ground. Using sliders is usually a better way to go.

I need to get some sliders. Still have the running boards on there until I can get something to help the kids climb aboard. I do have the benefit of AHC, so I'm no staring out 2-3" over stock all the time. The shackles work tho! Momentarily forgot about those.

Finally got some pieces cut today and they are going to try and bend up the center section tomorrow. Then I will test fit and the can start on the wings. I am very impressed with there laser cutter! The cuts will require no clean up and all the holes were perfect.

Also received a sample for the aluminum extrusions I most likely will be using for my roof rack load supports. They are kind of pricey but would definitely make for easy bolt on accessories.
