Does anyone know if the rear bumper would work across all models '08-'18? I believe the back of the truck never changed and the rear cross member and hitch is consistent across all years of the 200.

The front bumper would definitely be different for '16+. Not sure if a design could be made for 08-15 or would need a slight tweak for the '13-15 facelift.

I WANT , I WANT.... 2014 Land Cruiser.........NOW !!!!!!! :))

Will bring vehicle and leave for 2 or 3 months if needed ! :))

2008 model here. Like other's have mentioned, very nice workmanship. Would the rear to clear the factory spare tire carrier and have the swing out removable, so I don't have to mess it the 50 weeks a year I am not four wheeling. Front looks awesome as well.

Nope, just didn't have any 1/2" left when prototyping. The production bumpers will be 1 piece
Is there any reason beyond aesthetics to run two pieces of plate welded together vs one thick one for the recovery points?

Not a dig, just curious

And I agree about the pretty welds.

Thanks Mike!
The rear will be just that, sold with or without swing outs that could be added at anytime. The tire will still fit underneath as well.
Have a 2018 LC and what interests me is aluminum vs steel versions to save on weight. Looking to improve approach angles, but not necessary mount a winch on front or have a tire swing arm on the rear (but if possible to have as a future add-on). An optional carrier for the rear for extra gas can might be nice. I really like the work you did on the other model bumpers - yes, very nice welds! I am following your post. Hope this helps, thanks.

Great.
I'm in NorCal so local pick up and install would be an option
i am interested as well, for a 2014 LC. aluminum, if possible. in socal if it means anything to you.

Thanks!
If your serious pm me.
It would be great to have both gens here at the same time if possible.

Hell yeah, I would be interested. Aluminum would be great if it could meet needs. I was about to hit up @revesi for some help. I still may if this takes forever to get off the ground. I have 2 vehicles in Russia (Patro & a land cruiser 75) wintering in Siberia. I go back around late April.

I have admired your stuff many times...and wished you had 200 bumpers . I can deliver a 2014 to you if you need onr for a few months. I'll be in Russia and Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, all spring (5-6) months.

I really, Really want a lightweight front bumper and rear bumper. Had to leave my 200 hear for the Russia sojourn. :)
But I went through this last year. Building and testing can take up to a year. I have about 6 months.
Best of luck.
Jim

My 214 is available if you need it. I can deliver. What state or you in? I have a wide orbit.:)))) Would be very happy to help.

Thanks,
Jim Lowell

I am interested front and rear bumper. I am in the Bay Area and I can leave you my rig. I have a 2013 LX.

Thank you. Those welds..... WOW - the bead on it is like a high end titanium bike kind of weld. Beautiful!!!

from others that have made front bumpers there were minimal changes if any from 08- 15. I went through this with @reevesci.
He removed the entire front end to allow clearance /front angle of approach/ and to avoid cutting. That is why his looked so awesome. :))))

Thanks Jim, I will be in touch.
The gentleman with the 16 is going to get back with me next week.
If it can work out to have both here at the same time that would be ideal.

Great!
Maybe I'll need an lx here as well ;)
Thanks for the compliment.
We hold all our products to an extremely high standard, that's why everything is 100% built in house, we cut form and weld all bumper here. I am pretty confident that the quality and design on all products from us will be unmatched in the industry.

Good to hear,
I personally have not been a huge fan of full replacement bumpers on newer vehicles, especially on a production item. The body gap on the bumper is extremely important and imo when you have proper gap at the head lights it starts to look funny. There are a lot of guys having issues in the 4Runner and Tacomas with full replacement bumpers containing and breaking the headlights offroad. That being said if the bumper is built to an on the vehicle it can be done.
@reevesci does have one of the best looking full replacement bumpers I have seen on the 200.

I did it.

I would be interested for my '13 LC. Front and rear. Winch up front and removable swing outs on the rear. I like the idea of the aluminum to save on weight.

How strong is the upper bar? It looks a bit narrow to me. One of my main motivations for wanting a front bumper is to protect against deer strikes, so a strong upper bar is a must for me.

YES to aluminum front and rear w/swing outs.

Any chance you’re going to get around to making aluminum sliders?

I would be interested in an aluminum front and rear for a 2015! I installed an ARB in April of this year and it is already rusting in places and has not even seen a winter yet. Very disappointed in the powder coating finish on the ARB.

Does the tire carrier lock open ? Any options on the gas can side ? different can or storage ?

Not 100% sure what bull bar options will be available yet but yes, it is plenty strong.

I do have plans for an aluminum step slider but it may be a bit before I get to them.

Yes, they have a gas strut.
There will be many different accessories

benc...I can have my vehicle there when you want it....given 4 or 5 days to get out there. I'm dead serious about this and would love to blast out there and go over plans and details with you....and just meet you. This is will be great.

If indeed all is go I need to buy another vehicle. I sold my 2 porches and my truck. Feeling naked with out them. That's life.
If we verfy and I am counted in and expected lets do it dude. This would be a blast and give me an excuse to blow town.
Putting a 40 gallon gas aux gas tank in Tuesday. LET'S do it.
cheers, Jim Lowell, Houston

Interested in Aluminum front and rear.

Will the parking sensors be integrated? Will the camera be completely blocked with the tire swing out and gas cans?

2017 LC.
