Nice job guys. Nice job guys. Man the trail looks so much worst (better) then I remember it. It looks like a lot of the dirt around the rocks has been cleaned away. Not sure if it’s the photos or if it’s gotten so much better (worse), ha..ha..ha...ha.

Way to go. I'm impressed. Any carnage?

What happened to your front PS flare?

Super set of pics Otis - way to go Joe!! Gotta go do that trail one of these days! Get to use the sliders with your stock height?

ahhh yes - what a great trail. I remember running that with a large group of mixed rigs; Jeeps, Hummers, FJs. At each obstacle they would all watch waiting for me to get stuck and give up in my luxury vehicle. They were all shocked when the truck just went right through. You have to love the 80!

Nice little squeeze shot at the end! So did you spend a lot of time sliding? Do you have a skid plate?
Yeah, the sliders came in REAL handy! I have the IPOR style skid plate from Man-a-fre. I didn't even take my truck off-road (except Pismo) until I got the armor.

Minor carnage - I actually loosened that flare a little while ago at Calico (gatekeeper at Doran, I think). I finished up the job at John Bull. The bumper cap pushed up the flare and it popped loose. It's hanging by a thread. Line-ex here I come... (after the lift - I gotta have a lift!).

Many thanks to Otis for his excellent photo skills, and for posting these up! See above for my slider use.

Thanks to you all for the positive comments. It was a lot of fun! The trail was great, the guys from SoCal TLCA were excellent spotters, rock stackers, and just a great group to hang out with!
