Differences between 93-94 and 95-97 intakes and head? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, specially @cruiserdan and @beno, Are there any major differences between the 93-94 and 95-97 intakes, and any differences between the heads?

I'm looking to put a 93-94 head on my 97, and wanted to see what was interchangeable, and what wouldnt play nicely. EGR will probably be blocked off, regardless of head flavor. I'll have access to the entire engine to pluck what I need, and wanted to send as much off the donor to the machine shop for hot tanking and machine work, prior to tearing my 97 apart.

dimensionally speaking they are the same IIRC. Now the OBD2 head may have sensors on it that the OBD1 head doesn't.
