Destin I was kinda supprised when i looked at your thread today...i couldnt remember another thread going to 3000 posts?

although you may have the TUT of the non-chat threads :) not that that has any meaning...just thought it was interesting...i'll need to check on that :)

:D

I can be a bit post crazy haha :D

What does TUT mean?

Hopefully I will have some more posts of the cruiser out in action soon, jsut finished a work project ( although i am picking up another project over the holidays for extra cash flow ) I hope i can get the rig out adventuring soon :D

When shane gets back from holiday break i will be putting in my jump seats!!!!
yea!!!

Need to fix my heater soon, the fan rubs on the housing, i think the cold weather contracted the metal around the fan a bit, needs some surgery :D

:D

I will look inside soon!

I think i may need to bend the fan ends a hair to get it to rotate with out rubbing in the circular housing ( not the best or first option, but it seems like the shape of the circular housing is less malleable than the fan )

Be awesome if you found the place that used to make em, does that mean a warehouse full of NOS ? :D

no they dont have any nos...however they make new ones that are more square shaped...also in 12v and 24v...same flaps on the 3 sides...kinda cool...or shat we say hot :D

i was talking to a guy that got some replacement parts for his early 50's one ...thats a bit more different from yours...sooo parts are good :)

Oh nice!

Any photos of said heaters>? :D

Cool on the heaters Johnny...Jim gave me one he was getting rid of. I'll try to take some pics this week some time...I need to change my mind a little...looking at old cruiser stuff might help :frown:

so it is just an external ground for the condenser?

( it grounds internally now )

No just a bracket to keep wires out of harms way.

so I figured out the blue and white wire coming from my voltage regulator goes tomy amp meter!

My current amp meter was toast so I harvested a amp meter out of an old cluster i had around, now I have a functioning amp meter!

I also cleaned up the contact and wires on my dimmer switch and my head lights seem brighter!
Going to clean up the light switch connections next, then clean my fuse box connections to seee if i can reduce the resistance in my wiring :)

Also plan to run through and make sure all my grounds are solid.

I want to make sure that i have no drains in my system at all :)

Right now when i have my lights on, my blinkers have enough juice to blink at idle ( did not before )
Now i need to get it all sorted so i can have my heater, lights wipers on and have the turn signals with enough juice to blink :)

One thing I did notice,

1) the amp gauge flickers to the beat when my blinkers are on, is that normal?

2) amp gauge at idle runs just a little north ( + side ) of the amp gauge, this correct?

1 yes, the changing of drawn current can be seen especialy with a generator.
2 depends on the level of the battery.
