Make SURE you get them to balance it, which means you'll need to give them your refinished flywheel and harmonic balancer, keys etc...

ok, so i needed to give them the bell housing etc with flywheel ?

I know we are machining the flywheel and putting in a new clutch, but i did not realize the rebuilders needed that bit...
The rebuilders just have the block head oilpan etc, no bellhousing...

Not the bellhousing. Just the flywheel and harmonic balancer and the key for the harmonic balancer. If you are going to have the flywheel surfaced you should have it done before they balance the crank/HB/flywheel together. If you've already given them that, you're good. As long as they know they are supposed to balance it all. The first F engine I built I didn't spend the money to have it balanced and I'm a little sorry. I think if you're going to do these engines it's worth it.

Another note.

So my other writer here at work is a 70's car nut, he just blew out of here to drive a few hours to buy a '77 Monte Carlo with 47k one owner miles.....It's not me, but has the cool factor.
