+1. WEll, maybe +1/2 since Onur initiated what has turned into an acid trip-like obsession. But aside from the grey hair, trying to claim the fj60 as a dependent on my taxes, Onur's a solid, trustworthy, beer drinking, Toyota loving mofo =)

No and no. I used the Trail Tamer front axle rebuild kit from Ward Harris at Can Am Cruisers.

Brake lines for these old trucks are hard to come by, so the next best option is making them yourself. The LSVP is being deleted from the system in favor of a proportioning valve near the MC

Well hell no, but you're gonna have to rent a lot to park your rolling stock, you have more trucks than me. Although there are long term plans for a really nice barn in the future.

I found about a pound of sand on the DS and another half or so on the PS, still damp. Precisely why I will not drive on the beach. All that sand is infused with salt, attracts moisture and voila RUST I am surprised the frame was not far worse. About 7 spots to be cut out and replaced
Oh boy, now I REALLY don't want to pull my carpet up.
