I'm really excited to see this build. I don't think I've ever seen your work before. Looks amazing so far!

Subscribed and plotting about future...

You know you are welcome here Quinton

If only I had a lift.....

Cheers

I can tell you that I waited too long to get a lift. Do yourself a favor and get one as soon as it works for you. You will never regret it.

Ahh the painting stage, seems to be sooooooo long. Axle and related parts taken to bare metal, cleaned and primed. New leaf springs cleaned and primed, self etching primer. Have to wait for rain to stop and humidity to burn off prior to completing paint.

Ahhh yes, we all love this job!! One side full of the normal bad seal spooge, the other side was the driest I've ever found. The upper trunion bearing was starting to rust to the upper cap.

I have never dealt with them on a loan personally. I sent you a PM with the person;s information that I spoke with about financing builds and swaps. Perhaps he can help you.

Off topic, but what is the wheel/tire package on that white Hilux you have there at your shop?
Not a clue, I will look when I am over at the shop next.

Starting to get the front axle parts cleaned up

The bare metal stage just has a "feel" to it.

Someone really needs to do a 60/62 in bare-metal with a clear coat one of these days.

Someone would have to be over the top proud of their metal work. Its been done ( never saw an LC ) but not always flattering.

Oh the body would have to be PERFECT.

Is that blue glue a type of anti-seize?
