Wow, talk about clear easy instructions @Delta VS put together.

I used a jack with cardboard on it and did a solo install.

I really can't say enough about how informative, helpful, strait forward, and easy the order process was.

The fit finish and quality of the Delta equipment is amazing. Pure perfection in form, and function. The only word for the bumper and components is hand crafted pure made in the good ol USA art.

We recently made the decision to be dealers for Comeup Winches.

Two things drove this:

1. constant requests from customers about which winches fit, where and how to mount solenoid/control packs, etc
2. hearing testimonials from multiple people with direct experience with these winches

Once we made this decision, it made answering #1 much easier. We have made a control box (what used to be the solenoid pack) mounting bracket that allows the box to be mounted to the winch, inside the bumper in a low profile manner, while still allowing easy access to the wired remote connection and the power button. The bracket works with the winch mounted in either "feet forward" or "feet down" winch orientation.

We will be offering and fully supporting the Seal Slim 9.5rs and Seal Slim 12.5rs models, with pre-installation available (your bumper arrives and all you have to do is attach power and ground).

Pics below are the Seal Slim 12.5rs installed in 94 shop rig.

We had to weigh a couple things when deciding which direction on this mount.

a. If you have the @LandCruiserPhil added electric fan, pretty sure mounting the control pack this way won't work. Without having one of those to test with, can't say for sure. If you DO have one of those fans, or an added heat exchanger of some kind (say you have a @NLXTACY turbo kit and added an A2A cooler and put the heat exchanger up there), the bracket included with the winch from Comeup will allow the pack to be mounted on top of the motor and still fit, when the winch is mounted in "feet down" orientation. In this situation, the wired remote plug will sit above the top of the bumper, but it's still a pretty low profile setup.

b. If you have or want to mount lights (LP9, etc) directly to the top of the bumper, you will have to use the mount pictured below (versus the one included with the winch from Comeup), or figure something else out. There just won't be enough clearance to get the lights mounted while using the bracket included from Comeup.

SO, if you're one of the weird ones (here's lookin at you @Dirty Koala :hmm:) who has both LP9s and a heat exchanger mounted in front the AC, you will still be looking at a potentially interesting mounting solution (but if you're that far down the rabbit hole, it's assumed you can handle such things).

As usual, if you have any questions, as away.

About an inch of clearance between control pack and AC condenser:

Grille on, showing access. Everything you see here is well below the top of the bumper.

The only front bumper I’d ever consider to date. That full guard design is so money!

Also love the clean LED DRLs.

Would like to see a fully Delta’ed front and rear 80 on 37s with black wheels.

The build is coming together. Thankful I found @Delta VS and Super Appreciate their equipment, gear, and working with Dave to get my build dialed! My rear bumper should be here soon!

@Delta VS Really interested in this front bumper. You’ve probably addressed this in this thread somewhere, but curious if the integrated brush guard creates any noticeable wind noise? I know our rigs aren’t exactly quiet, but whistling exterior accessories drive me bat-schite crazy.

Good question, have two installed on shop rigs with no noise and zero reports from the many customers who have installed them.

Negative...no additional noise is created from my experience.

sweet! My ARB is showing severe rust cancer so it's not too long until I have to shovel dirt on her and start new. This is probably the best out there that I've seen and to be able to hide the winch inside like that is just slick.

It's even possible to stuff a comeup 12.5 RS winch in there with triple LP9's and a thick air-to-water intercooler heat exchanger with fan in front of the A/C condensor...just need to mount he control box inside the passenger bumper wing. The bumper even has internal bracing built in that you can bolt a simple mount to for the control box to....that how I did it.

Zero noise and super handy in the rocks or parking having a sliver of the front corner top viable will the full bar

Can't wait to see updates after the rear bumper install @BillyGoatMTB , your 80 looks sweeeeeeeeeet with all of that @Delta VS goodness. Patiently awaiting some pictures of the full setup once you get the rear bumper mounted up and functional. The DVS front and rear bumpers are on my short list. :smokin:

PS - what's your suspension setup? I'm on a stock height Dobinsons setup currently, and will be doing a full suspension update once I pull the trigger on bumpers, winch, and a few other goodies.

Keep up the awesome work DVS!

Does anyone have any profile pics (side view) of the bumper with the Bull bar? Also how’s the ground clearance compared to the stock bumper and the slee bumper?

I have the rear bumper on order all ready and I’m starting to look for my front bumper, just worried about ground clearance and how far out the bumper actually protrudes compared to stock.

don't have any direct comparison photos, but have some side view shots. will dig up and post shortly.

What I think a lot of folks miss when looking at our bumper is that to install it, you remove the valence piece (red crayons in first pic). This is what allows the bumper to have a substantially tall/deep cross-section under the headlights (giving a lot of strength), but also sit very high, retaining plenty of approach angle. Pretty much all other bumpers start BELOW the bottom of the valence, or close to that point (lower red line in first pic here):

This photo is looking right across the top of bumper, with some more red crayon showing about where the end of the frame rail is:

This photo is across the top of the bumper, as well as a little in front of it.

That is the perfect picture minus the Bull bar not being there. This actually answered all of my questions.
I would still love to see the angle of the Bull bar coming off of it if you have a profile pic of it. thank you!

Are you talking about the hoop?

Gotcha, don't have any other photos of those other than what's on the white one on our site/bumper page. We don't sell many of those and have only installed that one locally.

What I can tell you is the hoop is at approximately 35* from vertical when looking at the side of the bumper. Does that get you the info you're looking for?
