Death Valley trip Nov. 17 - 20

This was a great trip guys! Got home last night. 1425 total miles driven including the 'little' detour to Norcal. Will get some pics up when I get them off the camera.

Needless to say, Dan had a great route planned and executed to perfection. Thank you sir!

What a really fun trip! Thanks for organizing this. It was fun hanging out with you guys. Saw a lot of cool stuff and tried to take as many pictures as I could. It was also fun to finally test out the trailer off the pavement. Almost flipped it a few times but learned a lot about how it handles. Here are some of my pictures.

Superb set of pics Ryan. I've got nothing in my few I took to top what you took. Great pics inside Scottys Castle too! Glad you took a pic of Tea Kettle Junction w/o Tea Kettles! What a shame that they were removed. Iconic junction just wasn't the same.

That triple bounce on Sunday was worse than I thought. Guess the next trip is going to be trailer-less until this is fixed.

Thule rack foot and track bent that bad? Take it into REI and see if they'll warranty replace them. Worth a try.

X2 on what Brent said regarding your tracks. If you purchased them from return/exchange them. Rei's policy is 100% guaranteed.

I bought the tracks off amazon. the 430 tracker II foot is toast. I think i have a extra I bought off ebay though laying around. Thinking about trying to take a BFH to the track or try to bend it back down. Otherwise its gonna be a pain to find a replacement track. I don't think the limited warranty covers off road stupidity.

No harm in trying. They don't know that. Foot gave way and bent the track on a rough road and you didn't notice it until you reached your destination.
