We will all be better off when this sale is finally OVER! haha
Amen to that! :)

I went back for round two and got all EGR and VSV related components (tired of playing games to pass emissions) as well as a new front driveshaft (already had rear) and the rear heater hard lines.

Midnight cant come soon enough...

I mean... even if I total the rig tomorrow, I can just sell all of this stuff for double the price like the dealerships do, right? Frankly, screw the dealership model and I cannot wait for it to die. Looks like electric cars will finally kill it off, but it cannot come soon enough.

Why not get aftermarket cams with a little more of a performance grind over stock rather than just stock replacement?
I don’t know. What will aftermarket get me that stock can’t? I’m not looking for anything other than longevity and reliability. Maybe that can be had with aftermarket but it literally didn’t occur to me so I went with stock.

What would you have gone with?

Officially the gheyest thread ever in the 80 series section.

Bunch of old men groveling like little children.
Little children grovel where you’re from? That probably explains why you’re an a******.:flipoff2:

I spend my money as frugally or as cavalierly as I please. This thread is proof positive that I spent my money in the most irresponsibly responsible way possible. I ****ing feel like Superman.

Interesting fact: my first order from Marietta on 3/20 was number 9323075 and my last order yesterday (3/23) was 9353611. If they are using sequential order numbers, that is more than 30k orders in three days.

Just an idea. I know new oem cams aren't cheap. Can possibly get a mild performance set of cams that would give a little more power. Just an idea to look into if you want.

I’m reminded of the old adage, “if you don’t have anything nice (or constructive) to say, don’t say anything at all.”

I was joking. Grow some skin.
I/most of us knew you were joking. The real question is, was I joking about you being an as$hole?

No, no I wasn't. :grinpimp::flipoff2:

I hope the dealers did well from this sale. Hopefully it'll show the bean counters there's money to be made from more competitive pricing. I'd love to see some decent sales from dealers here in Australia, but I won't hold my breath.

That’s not how it works.

The dealers can do this on the account that the difference in what they would normally make in parts mark-up is covered by Toyota. This is a little blip to help the service parts side of the business. It’s a promotion internally to boost monthly sales for poor performing parts departments. Nothing else.

It’s a gimmick.
