Talked with Dave yesterday, from the U-Haul going to Denver. He's looking at getting a house with a 4 car garage, which would obviously help with the build. He offered to send me pics, but I told him that would jinx it. Finger crossing for now.

Set out yesterday from Seattle and ended up in Boise last night. Pic of my daughter and I.

Less eventful than Danny's trip to CO, for sure. He PMed me about some trouble with daboise.

Something involving car sickness, shampoo and air freshener!

Did daboise get so bored with the long trip that they decided to combine shampoo and air freshener, and drink it? I bet that created some upset stomachs, with the side effect of good smelling, and rather bubbly, flatulence from daboise? I've got Boxers, want some hair raising stories about room clearing flatulence?

ps- it's a dogs way of saying "I'm da boss"

Dave your rig will be spectacular-already looking great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Tundra smells amazing now... It was touch and go until I shampooed the carpets and seats...

We finally out ran the huge horde of flies and I was able to eliminate the smell.

Up the mountain in the morning... No connectivity for two weeks.., or, until the next ER visit... Or some other disaster, natural or supernatural...

Keep a good thought...

:steer:

That was a long, long, long drive. I left Seattle at 11:00 am Friday and arrived in Denver at 9:am Sunday. Saw some beautiful country along the way and got to spend some much needed quality time with my daughter. We traveled thru Utah and Wyoming also. Wish I could get off work so I could see more and work on the rig again but I will have to wait a little longer. Still trying to find the house but I'm having a difficult time and running out of time too. I thought life was suppose to get easier when you get older :meh:

Anyway, miss you guys and hope to be settled in my new home soon. Wish me luck!
Dave

Sorry to here about Deboise, Danny

Good pics there. I could be way wrong, but I would guess that several of the pics were along I-84. Most likely between Pendleton and Ontario.

That Corvair sure caught my eye! Back around '69 or '70 I had a 64 Corvair, and really enjoyed it. One of my many dreams, even now, would be to get a '65 to '69 Corvair, do a few mods, and make a sleeper out of it. I'm guessing that pic must have been taken somewhere around Ontario as the Corvair has Oregon plates.

Dave, stop and look around you. Take a breath and look at the pics you posted and the time you spent with your daughter. Don't let your build get in the way of life as it is right in front of you. Your build is amazing and your not stopping, you're just taking care of other important life things. It all comes together in the end!!!:):)

Yep 84
Thx Don they grow up way too fast
