Pulled the harness and began reworking it as needed.

Build a gauge cluster out of my best parts. I really need a speedometer since the input crossshaft is worn out.
I installed a new ignition switch and wired it in and installewd a newer headlight switch and wired it in.

Fabbed up an adaptor bracket for my FJ60 Brake booster.

Looking at the the holes nearest the engine, you can see the shiney metal from the drill bit.
After you knock out the weld on tabs you can shave the side of it down and use it against the firewall/dash support.

Old School air filter assy installed.
Fender installed. It aint pretty and was a real bugger to get all the holes lined up.

Seems the modified smog bracket to hold the Alternator was not modified correctly. You would only notice it when the alt belt is full tensioned. D'OH!

The clutch fan is the hold up.
Engine is a 2F from a 1984 FJ 60.
I cannot find a smaller OD fan to fit in the FJ 40 schroud that will work on the larger clutch fan diameter.
The 1976-1978 fan uses a smaller fan clutch, smaller bolt patern and a smaller bolt diameter.
Looks like I will have to swap waterpumps.
