My dilemma in mounting my Metal Tech Sliders that I just picked up. I have an extra bracket that was put on when I got my lift. Do I need it? I believe it is there to keep the caster? angle correct. Can I remove it and not effect the angle to bad? I have a 3 inch lift with J springs.

If you take it off, its gonna drive like *(*$#$%T. Just get Slee castor plates at a later date if you really need to put the sliders on.

you "might" be able to notch the man a fre bracket so the ubolt can fit through, would have to see it in person.

Thought about that but there is not enough room for the bolt to go through.

I got some new castor bushings that I'm not using. They're FOR's bushings and I think they're for 3" lift.

You can give these a try and if they work, give me maybe $50 for them. If not, take them off and go for plates, Slee's or LT's.

3" lift you would be fine with castor bushings or plates. If it were me I would sell the MAF brackets, get some bushings or plates and enjoy the extra ground clearance and Metal Tech protection. But that is just me.
