At the grocery store this morning; bread was in good shape, plenty of milk but the Coke Cola man must have been still at home. All the Coke products in cans were gone in the store. Pepsi was stocked up!

Kid needs a better rap. I was allowed to smoke in my room when I was 18. So of course my buddies and I smoked all sorts of things

So one sat night we all come piling down the stairs and out on the porch and my mother and grandmother are sitting out there. "what's that odd smell"? from Mom. My buddies, except for Murph disappear.
Being the quick thinker, I blame it on my buddy Jerry. Ethel, my grandmother, calls him a beatnik <sp>. Murph chimes in "yeah he likes those French cigarettes"

Ethel replies "well don't go driving while you are smokin those funny looking French cigarettes, you might end up on the wrong side of the road"

That woman had my number from day one. Miss ya Ethel
