This is the thread that started CSC rolling

Funny looking at the start date most here did not even own a LC or a member of MUD

The first CSC meeting....
Back then drinking was involved - looking back maybe a good thing:rolleyes:
We did hang out to almost midnight.:D
The name Copper States Cruisers was decided after a couple beers

I think thats a cool logo, except I think it would look a little better if the "CSC" has harder lines and not so cartoonish. Is there gonna have to be a logo change now that theres rules and guidelines? :hillbilly:

I like the drinking idea, it would help with making some of you guys more entertaining.

page not found on your first link Phil.

If drinking is allowed we need to ban weapons

Weapons help maintain civility. :D

Wow, y'all just made me realize that I'm not a newbie anymore...I statred hanging out with this dysfunctional (peer) group in 2006...

What drew me in was the involvement with the Toyota Trail Teams and what hooked me was the photos of Blazer Bash (October) 2006 in Moab.

I was new to CSC when I just posted a run on here for after Christmas 2005 :hillbilly:, and some 25 or so trucks showed up  - I have forgotten who actually served as trail leader . . . I was armed with maps and info :D

it just so happened that the run was pretty much done by 2:30pm and almost everybody headed home - except a few of us went the other way :steer: - (not that we had run the trail(s) before :o but I knew there was a way on the maps . . . ) - yeah, it got darker and darker and we went into and backed out of a few side trails (typical CSC mode by now); also, there was some question as to whether the ledge by Humbug Creek was runnable, but we did make it out eventually ;p

hey, we DID start the "after-run" before 3:30 :flipoff2:

All important issues should be discussed around a campfire, Imo.;)

I was the leader of that mess.:hillbilly: IIRC, we were planning on ~6-8 rigs, were going to Tip Top, then explore other trails in the area. Had a great turnout from CSC, then were joined by a big group from AZLCA and a rover club! Way too many rigs for exploring, so ended up at Indian Mesa.

Nope, IIRC, Michael ran Terminator that day. When we were at Indian Mesa, you called him, we waited for him to arrive, departure time was 3:30. Making for the genesis of the 3:30 rule.:hillbilly: Lots of firsts that day.
