So how about it ...(maybe for next year since time is short) piece together a trophy for the most LR carnage. Anyone have a grenaded birf or other parts they can donate to the cause?
I have the trophy Martin made a couple of years ago, and will bring it to LR. It's really badarse - but HEAVY. Can't seem to find a pic handy and it is at our "still for sale" house so you'll just have to trust me for now.

I think the original intention was the winner to weld a new piece of carnage on each time, but I don't think that's a good idea as it already weighs about 50lbs or so.

 R

Might have to upgrade to tons in order to haul it ;)

Welding on a new piece each year is a super idea. I'm sure we have enough folks to help lift it. :)

So I should likely spend more time on here as I royally screwed up on scheduling and mixed some dates up. Long story short Group Camp looks great and BS Troop 202 said they will leave it in good order for us next week. Eleanor and I made it up yesterday and took a site over at Badin Lake.

Wanted to also make sure that everyone knew route 597 is currently closed so to access certain trails from group camp you'll have to go around via route 544. They were unsure how long the road would be closed.

Hoping I can swing next weekend now that I've mixed my dates up.

Johnny requested that I hang on to my ring gear from the 100 for this very purpose (it grenaded at last year's Christmas Party). I was going to make it in to a trophy, but someone else may have much better skills than me. Also, just a suggestion... I was thinking of making it in to something that hangs so it takes up less space but can be proudly displayed in the recipients garage... Just a thought...

Got a front axle with a blown CV, but there's a $75 core charge I'm looking to get back from Onur at LR.

you guys get me a bunch of parts, and ill make us an awesome trophy!

@GLTHFJ60 , I finally registered...

Pretty sure I've got a slew of broken parts laying around, but if Ramon already has a trophy we can use, then we should just pass it around. If not, I can certainly find a birfield, or a ring gear, or some Detroit inner gears, or a rear axle shaft, or....

Please make sure you've gone over the inspection form once more before you come to the event!!

I'll be headed up Friday. Going to sleep in my truck because I won't have time this week to install the RTT. Was really hoping to try it out.

Michelle and I are out, super bummed. We just have too much going on for our upcoming nuptials... Hope everyone has a great time!

Scott, we have an extra tent if you want to use it rather than sleeping in the truck. Let me know and we'll bring it with us.

Bring the RTT! We can cubanchrome install it with twine and leaded paint.

Ok. I'll strap it down to the roof and we can see if we can figure something out. Spent 45 minutes yesterday attempting to install it and the roof rack is so low to the roof it's near impossible to work.

Just saw this.

Jim-- I will credit you the $75 core charge if you donate the core to ONSC so you all can use it as a trophy. I'm cool with that.

:)

Ah hell, that's just cool right there. Another beer and tip of the hat to you sir.

I'm just gonna hold off on degreasing it then. I'd do it for you, Onur, but Jim's on his own if that greasy shaft goes elsewhere. Why do I have it anyway??? Oh, yeah...he was just gonna trash it. I was gonna start up a scraping hobby.
