Seen a real clean stk appearing beige 40 on 8 mile near Beechmont, a couple of days ago.

I saw a very clean 40th Anv. 80 in front on the Cock and Bull in Glendale this afternoon...more and more all the time...

Followed MJM for about 5 miles this morning. Of course I was in the Subaru and therefore invisible.
Glad to see the Ox rolling around.
Dave

Did I have a trailer on the truck?

Glad that was you behind me since I did not have any taillights on the trailer. I had a bunch of trees to trim and needed to haul away the branches and other yard stuff.

No this was Saturday about 7:30 am, Looked like you were heading to work. That's where I was headed at least.
Dave

Saw a FJ40 w/the top off. It was like a grey beige w/fat white stripes on the side. It was going east on 52 near 275 around 8:25 this morning.

i was on 70 in columbus last weekend(not in my cruiser, so not really easily spotted) and going up 70W towards Dayton there were about 5 or 6 heavily outfitted fjcruisers and one brand new 4runner with the bumpers off. The fjcruisers were armored, a couple were beadlocked, all were loaded down ready for an expedition. would like to know who they were and where they were headed. looked pretty neat.

Running errands this afternoon, I saw a broken down silver 93 or 94 80 Series just west of the Reed Hartman overpass on I-275. It was a shame to see it just baking the hot sun...and 100 plus heat!

I saw it too... It looked like there was a note on the windshield and back window... Must be a love note for the officer that tags it to get towed...:D

Saw this in the Chicago land area (Tinley Park to be spedific) while going to eat breakfast on the morning of 9/11. It had ohio plates so I would think it has to belong to someone from here.

WOW...that is a clean 60! Awesome to see the owner has no hesitation driving it cross-country!

given the condition that this thing is in, Im pretty sure it does NOT see any dirt or gravel roads. Its more than likely just a show truck. Even had the film that you put on the front of cars to prevent chips from rocks and bugs. It was just impressive to see a 60 in this type of condition. Pretty rare for this region of the country

Saw a nice 80 Series headed north bound on I-71 out of Cincinnati this afternoon, it looked to be a 40th Anniversary Edition with an ARB front bumper. It was a nice ride.

So i have not seen in person, but i have gotten a few phone calls from friends who want to know about a long wheel base 40... ie troop carrier... it has been seen on 71 here in cincy by 3 different people now.... Does it belong to anybody that is on here... Everyone that seen it says it looks prestine....

Huh...I will need to keep my eyes peeled for that mythical beast!

on a different note, I saw a nice 93/94 80 Series yesterday on Vine St. near the southeast corner of UC's campus. Maroon with an ARB and roof rack and loads of stickers on the back half. All in all a nice rig.

In town here there is a 62 that is a V8 conversion from that place in New Hampshire, Cruiser Specialists, or something... Total refurb. There's even little DVD screens in the back headrests for the kiddies! It's really nice... Owned by the President of JoAnn Fabrics. I have passed by his wife driving it several times and finally pulled into the grocery next to him. It looks quite capable. I will get a picture - I drive by almost daily now. Funny yo see a 60 and a 62 in the same small town.
