I am a 45 guy but I was just browsing ebay Australia and came accross this crewcab 55 - never saw one before - thought you guys might be into it.

its on my ebay watch list! if i can get it for a few hundred i might go buy it, on problem is, id have to fly down to get it and drive it home, about 3000kms (aprox 2000miles) which is a solid 25hrs of driving. might cost a bit in petrol but we'll see

Not sure where but, I have seen something similar before? Looks to me like someone just chopped the top, enclosed it, then added a piece of flat glass (r window)

Could be lots out there - I've never seen one before, but like I said I'm a 45 guy and don't know much about the Iron pig. It always amazes me how many different variants and models toyota makes in different parts of the world - wether they are aftermarket or factory.

i didnt mean you AWL. far as i know toyota never did this. i'm on the fence with this style chop myself, i would like it better if the axle was moved back out of the fenderwell.

one variant i have always wanted to make is a real FJ55 pickup, i'd do like they did with the 45.
