My dad showed up late last night to camp for few days and spend quality time. Got up early this morning and headed to the Sand Creek Station to get coffee and go on a drive to see the Klamath Marsh.

Bought 2 more sprinklers and 2- 50’ hoses…

Dust control? A friend bought a parcel near mine and is doing dust control, it’s something I hadn’t considered. Our driveways turns into 5” of powdered dirt by end of summer.

I’m watering all the vegetation.

Looks like camp now.

Great for mountain bike trails though so not totally useless.

A lot of cabins are built on hills in the local mountains. Some you can enter at three different levels (floors), depending on what side you come in. Also you can have a water tank uphill. A lot of off grid people on flat ground build a structure to elevate their water tank, and wish they didn’t have to.

That's great that Pops came down to give you a hand.
Yeah it is.
My family is on their way here now. Plan to be sheeting the roof at about 6:30 when it cools down enough and shade hits the roof.

I don’t see any dead trees in your forest, were there some when you got there that you had to remove?

There are some dead trees. Most trees that have died are blow down from wind storms and heavy snow.

I meant dead standing.

Family got to the property around 5pm.

Still hot so Ryder and I cooled off in the water through. After cooling off we played horse shoes.

Evening fun around the new campfire pit. Ryder started his first ever fire with his flint & steel😁

Great time spending with the kids making s’mores, stories and star gazing.

Got up early and first project was grading around the fire pit and stacking rock around the base of the ring. Ryder at the controls of the mini.

Just 30 minute drive away from the property is the North Entrance to Crater Lake National Park or Diamond Lake.

How much do you have into the roofing metal? Looks similar to what we use on the 4WD trail outhouses, expensive stuff.
