I'm set on exploring the upper part of Coyote Canyon. Once upon a time, you could run from Lower all the way out to Anza. Most of you know that this is no longer true. Although you can still run both sides, the "middle" section has been closed, most likely permanently. From what I understand, this area also has a gate that closes June 1st.

My main objective is to explore and find areas to camp. I did this run a number of years ago w/ Gene when you could go all the way through. I only remember rocks and ruts.

I'm going out for another day run this Saturday (05/26).

If anyone is interested, let me know and we'll work out a meeting place and time details.

I am out bro, I will be in Moreno Valley at my nephews baseball tournament. I have to put in the time now so that when he goes pro in 8 years I will get a house from him... HAHAHAAHA
No worries. Next time . . .

I might be in for this one. I really should be doing some chores but the high temps are almost here. What knid of times did you have in mind? It will be easier for me to swing if we aren't back too late so I can leave one dog home. Let me know.

Right on. I'd like to see those drawers in person.

I'm thinking early. 7-8am start time, but I'm flexible. I don't want to be home to late either.

No.

It wasn't that hot for the Sandstone Cyn run! Close but . . .

It's only Wednesday, so maybe the forecast will change for the better . . .

Yeah but it's a dry heat . Honestly, I don't think 100 is that bad as long as I'm not trying to sleep. I grew up in about the hottest area of San Diego (although Escondido's pretty bad too) so I can tolerate it.

We still doing this Reid? If so we should probably meet in Ramona? It wouldn't be a problem for me to be there around eight.

Yep. It's on.

I'm actually going up the 15 to the 79. We can meet in Esco and caravan up to Anza or just meet up there. Either way.

7:00-7:15 IHOP in Escondido (Map).

or

8:30-9:00 Burnt Valley Rd. & 371 in Anza (Map).

Let me know.

Reid

Yeah, i feel the same way. As long as it's not humid... i'll take dry heat over humidity any day!

You guys have fun!

The forecasted temperature had been going down.

Wednesday was 99°. Yesterday was 94°. Today it's 92°.

Maybe we'll get another couple of degrees by tomorrow . . .
