I am in Amarillo and would be happy to look at them for you. I have seen the tan 55, been sitting for a while under evergreen trees. Not sure what it looks like up close. The other one I have never seen around here. What is the price on them?
I would say they both look to be about $1500 55's. Hard to tell without looking at the mechanicals. I would offer him $2200 maybe $2500 for both.

He is asking 1400 for the tan one and 1000 for the red one. I was thinking more in the lines of 800 for each of them( and I may be way off). The problem is they dont run. Potato, if you want to go and check them out that would be awesome. It would be a 7 hour drive for me to Amarillo from Wichita, but there is NOTHING around here Maybe you can get an idea of wha they are really worth. I would be interested in using the body parts, tailgate and some of the odds and ends. My 72 pig has a 2f in it so I wouldnt really need any of the engine parts. i guess i could always part it out.

What's with the vent system. Is that a vintage air type aftermarket a/c? If so it might be worth checking out.
a lot of pigs came with a dealer installed ac. never seen it with chrome vents tho. kinda unique. i would say $600-$1000 assuming neither is in running condition. would need to see a lot more to be sure, but they appear good sheetmetal wise (minimal rust)
