Funny story there. Small world thing.
At dinner one night one of the VPs was across from me. They are Connecticut Yankees that have a house in Vermont.
They were complaining that they can't get good service in Vermont because all the builders are busy and they take care of the locals first.
Turns out the very first paying customer of mine and a guy i later imported and built a bad ass troopy for is THE best builder in that town and they had been wanting to work with him.
I made the connection right there at dinner for him

A few years ago, I was allowed to work with my local distillery, and select my own mashbill, work the still, make cuts and essentially make my very own barrel of bourbon, Disitlled 12/7/18 dumper 5/20/26. I’m extremely excited to say the least about this 8.5 yr old very high rye bourbon at 55/40/5 Corn/Rye/Barley.
