A warm hello to the Cottonland Crew from the McDermut clan in Washington! Also @Bodean, guess what Kyle found in his truck and took forever to mail back to me?! My hat! It’s finally getting good use

At the Mariner's Museum in Newport News. This is a replica based off high resolution imagery and 3D scanning of the gun turret of the Monitor ironclad ship that sunk. This cannon had pinned two sailors and their skeletons were still there. It was found upside-down on the bottom of the ocean near Nags Head.
