Is the slider/running board sitting on that tire? When I swapped coils I nearly had the hi-lift maxed getting the front up in the air, how did he get enough droop to get the coils swapped?
I used my bottle jack to encourage a bit of extra droop to get my springs out. 
The frame is on the way-too-extended jack stand in the front. Shocks & swaybars are loose, axle almost sitting on the ground.
I stood on the drive flange and bounced to lower it enough to pop the spring out.
Use two floor jacks. One to just support the pumpkin - a pivot point - and another to push the opposite end of the axle housing up. If the second jack won't go high enough, use blocks of wood to maximize range.
Ah, kinda figured that would be the way to go. Coil springs 2: Electric Boogaloo is going down tonight.
Careful with the rear. It will try to walk left or right if you don't get enough weight off the springs. I had a heck of a time with the rear of the 80, had to re-position the jack stands several times to and still got uncomfortable. My problem was that I was that on the rear I tried to let the opposing tire be my pivot, but as the truck went up, the rear was shifting. If you can get both tires off the ground and most of the weight off them and use the 2 jack method like @BMThiker mentions, then you should be able to make it happen.

I may of got a little carried away with my electrical but it looks good and is clean. The 91-92 battery box was a perfect fit. I need to finish the +12v side but the negative side is done. There is a distribution block under the air cleaner that splits the 2/0 from the battery to 3 4ga that run to the engine, frame and body. +12v side goes from 2/0 to a fused distribution block and will have 4ga to the alternator, fuse box, starter and leave one slot open for my Audio.
