Saw some slicks yesterday.

My dad shot at dark. Said he missed. I'm terrible at tracking because I'm color blind so the blood has to be real fresh to see it. I had nothing better to do so I just walked the pines and walked right up on it.

Big body, small rack. Another out of the gene pool.

The only drawback is that that spread doesn't do it's own upkeep.. The Grogans have a gorgeous spread.

I'm so blessed my dad is healthy and loves to do the day to day work. I'm going to have to hire someone when he can't do it.

I sat 3 hours this am. Smacked a coyote at 270 yards. Gut shot him. Had to go in a thicket after him. Was scary. My trapper is happy.

Joe, the guy that hunts with me and helps keep stuff working around here got this 16" 8 this am at 9:50

Best deer we've gotten this year. I quit screwing with cameras so I have no idea what's here.

Got a deer this am that was limping around the feeders recently. Last years injury.

I've never owned a tactical rifle. I just can't figure out why to have one.

I didn't have a good hunting round and the AR craze with Obama was about to start so it was a perfect medium for me.

308 is a little under a buck per round now. Even less if you reload. Still a bad ass round that's hard to beat
