I don't have any experience with the directional antenna since we use ours on a jobsite that was just impossible to run copper lines to. Ours is the omnidirectional, one for each VZ band on the LTE network.

I just got an Amazon Echo. Besides the fact that my children are going to wear it out, I love it. I'm still learning what I can and can't do with it, but for now I have my Spotify and my Nest connected to it. It's pretty cool.

What I wish it would do is control the tv. Still trying to figure out if and how.

I got one. In a box. Lost instructions. I don't get it.
It's not complicated at all, but I'm pretty sure the first instruction they provide is "Remove from box...." It doesn't work nearly as well if you don't.

Send it to me. I can make it work at my house. Probably won't work at your house anyway.

I don't understand all I know about this device, but it looks like it could be helpful for those no/low service areas.....IF it works

Beartooth
If you have a Ham, I don't see the point (not that I'm against new tech/comms). Only works with other beartooth users?

I am sure this unit has been discussed on here but I ain't going to was 5 minutes of my life looking for it. This lil unit was the cat's ass in Alaska. We were able to text/sext with our spouses while wheelin/drinkin in the frozen tundra of Alaska. Plus it allowed you ass hats to see our movement or lack there of every day.

Thanks JTTMFT for leting me use it.

Not sure, but I think this would fit here. Picked up this NOCO G3500 this week to try out.

Its a nice unit and will do AGM, regular, 12V and 6V batteries. We are battery poor around here so I may pick up a couple more to keep on other things if I'm pleased with how this one does.

Mine's a paperweight. Never got it to charge a single dead battery when other chargers would.

You have the NOCO? Its hooked to the 4runner battery right now because apparently if it sits for 2 weeks it will die. I will report back.

I bought it mainly for the Ford and the cruisers as those don't get driven much at all, matter of fact the white 80 is dead as a doornail currently.
