Going to be swapping out my front seats in the Troopy in about a month. If anyone would like to have the stock seats (LHD with passenger bench) they are yours but you would need to figure out hoe to get them from South Orange County, California (where I will be swapping them out at)

I would love to head north but I'm not ready yet (I need to finish setting up rig) and I don't trust my 1HZ the way it is running. Also, I can only keep it out of Costa Rica until September so going to head south. Need to sort out getting a new motor put in while I'm back in CR. I can only keep the rig out of CR for 6 months at a time so pending on where i get the swap done it has to be timed in which i can get back to the states and swapped out in a timely fashion if that's even possible.

Is that a Costa Rica rule or are you referring to the US rule? Because the US rule can be reset instantly by driving across any border (ie Mexico or Canada).

It's a Costa Rica Rule, the max you can have a nCR plated car out of CR is 6 months. At least in my case as I am not finished with my CR residency until July 17th so I don't know if that will change once I am or not.

We need to hook up on coffee export 😝

Can anybody possibly get these measurements on their Troopy roughly from the center pillars (just past the glass) on both barn doors? I wont be back at my rig for another month, which is why I ask, no worries if not.

Are those for the bag wire? I had to get another custom one because the standard didn't fit... I don't have a tape here at the camping but will try to find one!

@theglobb Probably not your top priority right now, but do you still have the aftermarket seats in your Troopy? Want stock seats?
thanks for the @!!! but you're correct, with all of the extra stuff that has popped up with the windshield frame I have no money to spare. Appreciated as always though

Converted the existing DMLAH hubs to Manual locking hubs with new spindles and Birfs. New seals and bearings for knuckles. The new races just dropped into the wheel hubs with play so replaced the wheel hubs while doing the bearings and races. Hope the rear wheel hubs are not the same but got new ones just in case.

Looking great!!!

How do you like the HF "off road" jack? Have been thinking about getting one.

Well, parts are rolling into the States so it is time to fly back to the Troopy and get back to work on her before road-tripping her back to Costa Rica.
In the meantime why not cut up a brand new Starlink so it fits into my suitcase easier (not really why I'm cutting it up but does help pack it)

So i can flat mount it on top of the troopy. That way it can live up there most of the time and also be used while driving. That way I don't need to set it up at camp as well, it will be quick release if for some reason I need to place it out because of obstructions.
