Picked up a 2022 GX 460 Blackline today. Going to clean up the 4Runner and it will be for sale soon. If anyone is seriously interested let’s work a deal before I list it. 2016 <36k miles, turn key trail/overlander or add lockers and 35s and take it dumber places than I did.

Test drove this yesterday. Where my sons 80 smells like an airport fuel truck this smells like the back of an old tower PC running the hard drive at full RPM. They were at MSRP plus 25k. Now down to MSRP.

How'd it drive?
Has good pick up and handling. Inside is not on par with past LC but this was a poverty pak with Cloth seats and no sun roof.
About the size of an 80 series in and out. While not a huge fan of the new LC getting a new Toyota 4wd for 55k isnt horrible. Had center and rear locker and street tires.
Gonna wait and see about the new 4Runner then maybe make a decision. Cant blv they chopped the 25k market add up in less than 24 hours… are these not moving?
They were all blocked up at port and now they are hitting in numbers so I think the markups are gone.
The port puts rediculous stuff on them. Thats the markup you can’t avoid.

Avoid the markups, the more dealers that see people won’t pay for FOMO, the faster they will all start being honest again. Plenty of dealers nationwide not doing market adjustments. I can’t believe I’m saying buying at sticker should be the norm, but here we are. I honestly can’t wait until all inventory is back to being able to haggle under sticker but I think the mfg have realized they can make less and charge more.

I’d take way less for the one that followed me home…Making progress on the 80 @dnp and I drug out of the hood. I used the headlights, grill and bumper from the red donor truck and it’s starting to look normal again. In the middle of swapping the fuel tank and changing the fuel filter then it will be time to put some miles on this pig while I’m finishing the rest of the pre-crawl punch list. Ordered new OEM gaskets to fix the oil leaks on the 1fz and hopefully post Crawl I will start the 3uz swap using my 05 LS430 that I picked up for parts a while back to fix my 04 that the wife wrecked.
