So......I have a big compressor (to me) Puma 6060 and want to at least plumb 2 air connections in the garage one in front and rear so I don't have to have a 100ft hose all the time.

I have thought about black pipe but finding the correct lengths might be an issue.

I am looking at the rapidair systems. I can get it done quickly (one afternoon) and would be clean install. Has anyone used it and any potentail issues.

If you do this let me know how it turns out...have been wanting to do the same.

I will echo what BMthinker said. I have used push-fit nylon fittings in my air compressor (150psi) with great success. That being said, the one fitting nearest to the compressor motor failed, because the area got too hot, and the hose popped. If you do use the press fittings, it may be a safe bet to use brass fittings near a heat source.

One solution might be to install longer brass fittings/extensions or a manifold with the extra holes plugged to act as passive radiator. My little ExtremeAir also has a high temp check valve coming off the manifold.

Didn't say it runs or drives? Definitely a cool rig, would make an awesome tow rig.
