One of these is not like the other

That thing is awesome. My better half has decided she needs to learn to fly one so she bought a cheap quad off of amazon and is learning to fly. Did you start off on something else or jump right in the deep end with the Phantom? She wants to grab pics and videos. Thanks

I was watching this market and would likely still be watching it but my wonderful wife bought me this Phantom 2 for GoPro for Christmas. It's being used to survey trees on my farm :)

I have crashed the crap out of this thing and mostly all were due to be not knowing the capabilities and never having played video games. My nephew flew it like a pro immediately because he is a video master.

If you don't have a GoPro then get one of the Phantoms with the built in camera. LOTS more you can do with that than mine. The GoPro videos are higher resolution but if I was doing it over I would get the Phantom 2 plus.

Oh, found one more nice creeper shot on my camera from the Subway last week.....

BTW, if anyone wants to take their family to NYC....which I highly recommend, I put together a really great trip. Let me know, I'll be glad to discuss it.

Wife saw a Tan 40 in Madison that rear ended a car this am? who owns it and is everyone ok? (By everyone I mean the 40 of course)

:hmm: One could make a cheap version - '98 Taco cab, earlier bed with side rails, 80 series chassis, GM drivetrain.

Sounds like Matts 78. I'll give him a call tomorrow.

Rumors of me being the offender are greatly exaggerated!
I was in fact the one that was rear ended.
Some cars a few ahead of me suddenly made hard stops for no apparent reason and it's amazing more cars didn't get hit. The guy informed me it was "ok, no damage" but I made sure. Just a minor scratch on my bumperette; can't say as much for the center grille plastic of his older Montero....I got the feeling he was trying to avoid any "imperial entanglements" judging from his demeanor, dress and genre of bumper stickers.. I stopped to check out my damage and he drove ahead a bit and then pulled over. After I got back in my rig I pulled up behind him so on hindsight it looked like I was the culprit. At any rate. All's well with the 40. Now if I can only get the machine shop to finish my dang manifold..
