Crazy cool Volkswagen spotted on HWY 51 in Canton at the gas station.
Looks to be a 1980s VW Rabbit Truck. I'd seen the cars but not a truck...who knew?

They made these in gas and non turbo diesel. I think every sixteen year old needs a non turbo diesel vw from the mid 80s. World would be a safer place!
I drove a 1984 Diesel VW DASHER wagon ,which did anything other than dash....had to turn the AC off if you pulled out in front of traffic. Drove it every day for my paper route then drove it from SW jackson to NE jackson for school every day.

Say what you will about the reliability of Rovers, they've got it down pat where legacy of the company is concerned. I'd love to have the Heritage version shown here - as long as I still have the 80 as dependable transportation. Wish Toyota would take a cue from these chaps. Newly minted 60s and 55s would be nice to see on the lots.

Awesome day started early with a fire in the pit that is still kicking big.
I've been heating the pool. This takes a while when it is sitting at 60*. It's 80* now and my tank is 50 gallons lighter.
Took the drone out. Battery died on mini truck. Called house, told Berkley I was on the Nor
th Property line and to rescue me. She was there in the RZR 20 minutes later.
Now I'm messing around watching this fire burn considering washing the filth off the RZR. It's a mess.
