I was soooo excited when I saw this post. I thought you were making mounts for AC Compressors at the engine... I want to mount up a York compressor.

You have done everything else, so is this next for you?

I have been contemplating buying or making one of these but modifying so it unlatches at the front and pivots in the rear so I could lay down my CO2 tank when not in use and prop it up when needed.

Bad idea? Think it would work?

York it the best air delivery but also the most costly. Others have made the set up with good results. For the dollar value and just plug it in fact the PUMA is very hard to beat.

With we be offering an add on (to out compressor mount) inside tire carrier in the next coming week. We have many helpful useful nitch product coming in the next year.

Thanks for your support

The mount is plenty strong the weakest link would be the fender itself. I figured you for a smart guy what are you still doing using CO2?? Personally I could pay for a PUMA with my cost on refill CO2 tank in 1 year ... BTDT

Here is mine with Phil's Puma mount. Fits perfectely with my rear storage setup.

We like happy customers.:grinpimp:
Great picture hope you dont mind if I use it in the future.
Sure use it.

The only other thing I have been hunting for is a very slick way to store 25'-50' of air hose. All the auto-retrac reels are to bulky.

I like that mount but have a ?. Do you carry an air compressor 24/7 or do you load it up when you know your'e going wheelin'?

Have you tried using the plastic flex coil hose. When I take my hotdog compressor with me I can throw 25 ft of it on the handle. It is more than adequate for filling tires or running nailers. If your running air tools I doubt it would flow enough.

I cant speak for all but all the guys I know are hard wired and bolted in 100%. The quick power disconnects I sell are mainly for the ease of connecting small wiring from the compressor to the larger wiring coming from the battery.

My 80 is not a DD so everything stays 100% of the time.

I too have mine hard mounted and it stays in place all the time. That said, I could still pull it out in 15 minutes if I needed to. One of the good things about these mounts is they give you a great place to store the compressor and it pretty much only takes up dead unusable space above the wheel arch and doesn't impede access to the rear quarter panel storage panel. I will probable end up adding one of these to the other side of the truck to use as a water tank mount once I figure out what size tank works best. Something like these, not sure yet.

Slightly off subject, but do you have any sway bar disconnects available? I want a compressor mount and disconnects, but would like to order them together.
