There was another thread that mentioned that braking scenario you are describing. Other owners mentioned driving at high speeds and having their truck fishtail when this happened.

Rear pads were not done correctly?

I didnt have brake loss, but after replacimg my rear pads 2 monghs ago in Oregon, when i got on the highway the next day, suddenly ALL the breaks locked and the rear swinged to the right, abs sign on, all this lasted abot a second,,,,, what was that????????

Happened a month later on slight downhill near santa monica!

Thank you for the good link!
Yes, thats what happened, BUT i was in a straight line unlike the others in the link where they were on a curve.
There could be many reasons for this as they have illustrated, but i know for sure this was after the rear pads changed + lift install

Thankfully, never happened again since 2 months, even going 160km/hr on Nevada to Arizona

I was hoping to not have to do brakes until summer but this pushes up my time frame. I’m going to get techstream to get a better read out than what Orielys told my wife.

Good to have Techstream, but with that Bosch 1300 if you just push the 'Code Connect' button...it will tell you the most common fix (part/procedure) to fix the issue as well as other recommended remedies.

I'm now of the opinion.

When we hear the screaming banshee, screech of death or what ever one calls it. And, we see bubbles come up front of reservoir associated with that sound.

Only one cure: Replace the master. That it is not the booster assembly or any of its individual components.

I am x2 with that. I replaced the pump and the booster to the tune of about $1k. I still get the symptoms in colder weather below 45f and the alarm. The internal seals have gone. Take the advice of 2001LC and I. Sure, replacing the pump and canister might be a band-aid fix and it might work for some, but if it doesn't, you're out the $1k. MC cost $2-3k.
