Weighed truck and trailer 46,800#
Not to bad considering Ted packed a second truck in boxes and Andy and I have maybe a 1/3 of extra truck.
Need to shift 1000# off trailer axles so swapping Jason's and my trucks. Still waiting for new rear coils for my truck, hope they arrive tomorrow but got bad tracking number from TPI and have not gotten correct one yet.

Roger,

Assume you guys still plan to drive straight through? Assume that puts you in Moab around Sunday afternoon? What do you guys run on the hwy speed wise mph?

Correct ,assuming all goes as planned we should arrive Moab early afternoon so we can unload and set up before dark.
We will run 65 mph or so, slower on hills.

Wow! That's quite the load!

ok...stop if you see me on the side of the road...I'll do the same :) I may carry a ham radio in the truck with me...to kill some time with...we'll see how motivated I get with that.

@4xsteve I'm probably going to skip GJ. New gears spool, etc.
Can't afford to break the first day before I get to Moab.
That's what happened to me a week before the Toyota Jamboree here in CO.
Took me 2 month to fix. Crawler budget is very low, till the 4 year old starts kindergarten next fall.

Springs arrived today, installed them and re load mine and Jason's trucks.

work has been crazy as normal in Sept for us...show up at 6 or 7 and not leave until 8 in the evening.. Most of the dumb stuff stops after tomorrow so that will be a short term improvement. Maybe I' can take off part of the day thursday...:)

I assume weight reasons, but seems like Jason's or Ted's would be better on the front because of overhangs and aerodynamics.

You sayin Andy's refrigerator box has poor aerodynamics. Yes it is a weight thing, past trips I put an 80 up there. I have a air deflector but did not have the time to build can protector to mount it.

Thanks Steve now i'll get blamed for little red's poor fuel economy!
Better that than being the heaviest near the trailer axles and get blamed for flats. haha

Guess it's good that the 60 is sitting over the axles then, isn't it? :moon:

well the long day in "hell" is over @work and another fiscal year ends for the gov....translated....its a downhill slide to Friday at some point when I leave heading west. If not too much is going on tomorrow I'm going to try and head home about the half day point to do a few last min things and check over stuff in the daylight.

That is my hope as well. The class I'm in supposedly finishes up around lunch.

That was #3 @ $120 each.
Thinking about flat towing the cruiser, and leaving the trailer in a ditch!

Are they blowing from hitting stuff, from being under inflated or are they too low of a load rating?
