I got a wild hair up my ass and really want to see if i can make part of this epic trip. trying to piggyback the SCC with this trip for maximum wheeling overload. I would want to fly out to catch up with you guys.

I Think I can fit the zuk buggy on the plane in the overhead compartment ; P

So has the itinerary changed much? thinking about leaving on the 11th or the week of the 11th. So i am trying to figure out where you guys will be at that point, CO or Moab?

Thanks in advance

Welcome aboard Lenny!

There will be at least a few participants - likely most of the group actually - in Moab for the whole duration of the two weeks. A small group of us plan to go to Grand Junction Friday night the 9th, wheel 21Rd Saturday the 10th, wheel Billing's Canyon Sunday the 11th, and hopefully be back in Moab Sunday night and back on the Moab trails Monday.

Assuming all goes well!!!!!

Large assumption and your leader is just one more trail Steve

NEVER GIVE UP!!

:steer::popcorn:

I've never needed extra fuel in Moab. Fill up in the morning, done.

My FZJ80 on 35's has done most trails there other than Pritchett and some of AreaBFE...no worries on tire sizes.

@woody - If you're already there with your smoker, thank you. If not, I think Andy's electric one may be the better option so we can "set it and forget it".

@ajordan1975 - If you have room and are still okay doing it, please bring your smoker since that's what you're familiar with and probably easier to use since we may not be around the whole time it's in use.

I like eye of round, but brisket, pork loin, chicken, and turkey are good too. Hell, probably anything will be good if it is fresh smoked meat!

Roger will have a small grill and I'll have a small two burner stove. Other than that, maybe there will be a larger one there Danny will allow us to use if we need to.

I am bringing a small gas grill, It will do 6-8 burgers at a time.
I'd been wondering who was going to skip a day of trail riding to tend the smoker.

I also have a 2 burner stove top, and if I have the room I can bring my weber. If it's needed.

Huh?

the wheeling gods may make that decision for us... :wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench:

As they say: "while ya bullsh!t'n", that may just be how it works out. But does that alternatively mean that we are gonna eat like crap if nobody breaks? haha

No, I have several meals I do in under a hour plus we can do burgers and dogs

We never seem to have a shortage of good food around our campsites.

Well, my big push to fix everything is over!! Thanks to everyone that lent a hand or had parts!!

Next stop Manchester and the official beginning on Mashed Potato's journey west.:smokin: If I were Catholic I woulda asked the Pope to swing by and offer a blessing.

Cool, one less thing to deal with.

last weekend for last call stuff at least for me. I hope to wrap up things and be loaded up by end of day Sunday. FYI sharing phone info..(256-three-three-eight-Four-Six-Zero-Nine). Contemplated path for me....leaving the 2nd stopping on the other side of OKC in Weatherford, then on to Cortez CO on the 3rd, then on the 4th arriving at location mid-day or so.

Almost loaded...
