Oh geez, that's effin funny Ted. Are you trying to turn this into Pirate? haha

Sorry bud, just bein my usual smart-a$$ sarcastic self. At the time just hadn't gotten the full caffeine effect goin'! All better now!

Steve,

THanks for the youtube link... Guess I would have to seriously upgrade my truck. SAS, bigger tires and a roll cage.... Calling Ted...

I may have to pass on this one.....
Just keep in mind what kind of wheeling I do - know there's not going to be any mud, and body damage is about 99% likely. What I'm shooting for should make The Cove seem like flat pavement. YouTube some of the trails I've listed. :wrench:

Don't get me wrong though Andrew, your truck would do fine in most of Moab, but it may be in pieces from the other trails before you ever make it to Moab (probably the last stop).

Don't feel bad though, if Henry goes like he says he wants to, we're gonna have to put a throttle stop on his truck at about the half way mark. Once he learns what "crawling" is, maybe we can allow him to have 100% throttle available again. :p

I am going to Cruise Moab in May if anyone wants to go earlier.

Moab has been on my list a LONG time. I am doing it.

I feel ya. I went once but was virtually by myself and only had one day. Couldn't risk breaking or getting lost so only got to do Fins 'N Things. Now I may be out of wheeling for 4 years again so I'm gonna go out in style!

GSMTR probably won't be as exciting as it was last year.
Yeah, I'm thinking about not even bringing a camp chair or any firewood. :deadhorse:

Sid, you know any guys through your shop that could build me a custom aux tank to mount under my trailer? I'm thinking at least 1000G and with baffles. Aluminum would be great, but I bet that'd be astronomically priced.

Steve, get me some drawing and some measurements and I'll see what I can do. PM me and I will give you email and fax number.

Thanks! I'll see if I can get something together in the next couple of days.

Hey Steve do you have more solid dates for this trip Hammered out???

Not really. Tentatively lookin at early October right now. There's a Monday holiday there, I think Columbus Day maybe, that'll put me back in town the weekend before SCC. Thinking that whoever is on the trailer can come on back the following weekend to SCC and wheel Superlift too. Be a hell of a trip!

Right now I need to figure out how in the hell I'm gonna afford this trip! :hhmm:

Also, through the same forum as above, I've found out that my timeframe of October will supposedly be a great time in terms of weather. They said there's a slight chance of Holy Cross being inaccessible if the area gets any early season storms though. Of course that'll be fairly easy to figure out as the trip kicks off. And HC, as I have it in my head, would be the first stop anyway so, easy to bypass if needs be.

Speaking of HC being first, does anyone have any preference as to which direction we run this? I was figuring HC 1st and Moab last. Could run it in reverse though since Moab will likely be easier on the trucks, carnage wise, than most of the other places I'm thinking of.
