...Or bgfindashop.com as mentioned in post #55. If that still doesn't work, contact me directly. I'll get in touch with your local BG Distributor to find a shop you can buy it from.

A couple years ago the Jaguar dealership in Arizona carried it (South Scottsdale). Maybe Jag is a distributor?

Yet another alternative...

I went to the local Toyota dealer and asked about the BG Frigi-Clean... well the parts representative said that they stopped using BG products... and gave me an AC kit which comes with an Evaporator cleaner and refresher from "PETRO Checmical A/C Power Foam". This is what they use on Toyotas for A/C service according to the parts rep.

Anyways, total cost is $18.95 for the entire kit. Also, there is no hole to drill. Simply snugly fit the wedge adapter at the end of the dispensing apparatus into the evaporator drain tube and dispense it. 10-15 mins later, foam will liquify and drain out. Then follow with "ConditionAire 2005 Refresher" into the fresh air intake with blower on high...

Whole process took me 20-25 mins... and best of all, SMELLS GONE!

do all Toy dealers have it? Which did you get it from?

A/C Evaporator is clean! Finally found the BG products A/C kit at Advanced Auto. $36.25 plus tax.

Did mine over the weekend also. HUGE DIFFERENCE !!

Use to have this crazy dog butt smell..... and thank mud I found this thread.

Doesn't smell at all anymore. And since I had more then half a can of the stuff you spray in the outside vents, I sprayed my babies mamas car w/ it, and a few friends rides also.

Good Stuff and definitely works .... I had a almost like oil fluid coming out ... I'll be doing another right before winter hits.

no more musty smell!

finally found frigi-clean at Buy Frigi-Clean® and Frigi-Fresh® | BG Frigi-Clean® and Frigi-Fresh® AC products | Frigi-Clean® and Frigi-Fresh® . it seems to be the only online place you can get it. Dealership would not sell it to me...they wanted to charge me for the cleaner and service. Whatever...

Ordered mine from this site as well. It took about a week to get it (I'm in MO) Just did the treatment to my a/c and so far so good. Fresh smell and no more musty smell when i turn on the fan.

AC condenser drain tube

Hi Mudders,

Getting ready to clean mine soon, but before that I wanted to make sure that the drain tube on mine is not clogged: is there any way to make sure before you insert the fluid, in order to avoid it coming out on the carpet? Thanks!

Run your air conditioner for awhile and you should see the condensation dripping out under the truck after awhile.

You can remove the blower/motor and the big resister thingy and basically get at the entire evaporator with a small shop vac. That way you can see if it is dirty or not. Most of the grime collects at the bottom 1/4 of the coils. The big twigs and leaves and dirt chunks will still be there until you suck them out.

Just FYI, it is possible that the evaporator core is so fouled that no amount of stuff you pump in and drain will get it properly clean. Here's what mine looked like even after a treatment with FrigiClean. Yes - it was as bad as it looks!

This would've been really difficult to clean without removing it. I had to do other AC service anyway, so pulling it was the easiest option for me.

How about cleaning this one. Took me a while but I did get it clean...

Unless you pre clean the evaporator core somehow adding this stuff only reduces the smell of the leaves, bugs, and dirt on the evap core. If you clean it properly you won't need this stuff at all. The acids from the decomposing debris will eventually rot the very thin metal in the evap core.

Just used the BG kit after finding a small repair shop here in Denver to sell it to me. Amazing how much of a difference this made not just with smell but also how quick the AC gets ice cold. I also cleaned the blower fan before doing this. That thing was black and gross. Glad I'll be breathing some cleaner air now.

Hmmm, looks like it will clean mildew and stuff.
How does it work on dog hair?

How in the world did it get that bad? Did you use your cruiser as a mobile grooming truck?

Not mine. I had to fix it.
It was in a Volvo day cab rig. Some guy bringing his nasty ass dog to work with him.
The entire dash and HVAC box was packed with it. Smelled like wet nasty dog really bad.

So it actually puked out chunky black stuff on your driveway? I'd be very interested in this stuff myself!
Hey Proven I saw your avatar and the childish part of me had to say it. Hey Proven "does your P burn" if so you might wanna get that looked at.
