So a kid flying balls in an 88 Bronco locked up his brakes and slid right into us on the CK road today. I pulled the fender away from the wheel and drove the damn LC all the way back into Phoenix. We'll see what insurance says tomorrow.

so much suck, man. Hope y'all are alright and that the insurance does you right. Were you on the road back to I-17? That is one of the most insane, Mad Max roads on the weekends. NASCAR speeds on loose over hard pack surface, and a large percentage of operators under the influence...from bikes to side-by-sides to big trucks.

That's awful, but at least no lives were lost, and it didn't require a tow. I guess it is an opportunity to upgrade your bumper(?). Hopefully the other driver was insured and owns up. So close to your radiator too, that would've ruined your day.

Ditto! That sucks man. Glad no one was hurt though. I love wheeling but one drawback is the preponderance of “more balls than brains” yahoos out there.

That sucks man. Hated to see you busted up @jahawk

I feel like those two passed us earlier moving at a good clip. CK is always a bit crazy.

BTDT on the same road. Did you report it, take pics, and get his info?

Usually it is the side by side that are out of control, BUT all kinds of idiots on the stretch between Prescott and CK. Has made me find new roads. Bummer is that area is right in my back yard.

I got the guys info and insurance is taking care of it. The sheriff isn't coming up for something like this. I dropped it off at the collision shop and should know by tomorrow where things stand.

Mayers Sheriff dept played a huge roll in my settlement as I was hit by an off duty police officer that thought he was above the law.

Heard back from the shop 17,500 to fix it. We'll call that unofficially totaled. I should hear from insurance in the next day or two.

Ouch!!! Sorry to hear...

Ask your insurance company what it would cost to buy it back. If you don't mind the salvage title, you can likely fix it for a lot less than that that.

Wow, more than I would have expected although I did assume it would be totaled. Airbags deployed?

The frame was actually bent on the driver's side. Interesting enough the air bags did not deploy. If any body knows of decent 100 or early 200 out there let me know.

:( Good grief, there is no escape from the idiots whether on of off the highway. Bummer.

Sorry to see this. Get ready for the insurance slow play low ball routine.
