I made up a few more tool bag strap sets. These were used in 1973 to 1975 FJ40's, to hold the tool bag under the drivers seat. Maybe other models used them too, idk. These are similar, but not stk. Below is a link from my original ad. $48.00 Shipped.

Hi @brasskey, I decided to respond to your PM here. I do not have anymore sets made up and it's not economical to make one set up. I'm posting here to see if there's any interest from other folks. If there's enuff interest, I would be open to making more. Its been a couple of years since I made these, so I'm not sure about the price. If there's enuff interest I will look into pricing and let folks know b4 any are made up. If you are interested in a set, post here or PM me and I will put you on a list. 1st come 1st serve. I will contact you when I'm ready to ship USPS and you pay via PayPal friends & family. It may take 2 to 4 weeks once there's enuff interest.

Folks can click on the link above in my 1st post for a more detailed description. These are not stock, but are similar. If folks want to make them for themselves all the information on sourcing hardware and materials can be found searching this website. I'm open to using your stock hardware, or maybe something a little different on an individual basis. Thanks, Ken

Well Folks, I'll look into getting parts together. Give a couple days and I'll let you all know what i find out. If anybody else is interested let me know.

Still interested. Let me know if you get enough that need them. Thank you.

I looked into making more straps this week. I can make up a set of straps $50.00 shipped using hardware and material like what's in the 1st post in this thread. I make up a small batch at a time when there's enough interest. If I use your stk hardware they will be $44.00 shipped. I do not restore hardware. If you restore your hardware I will be as careful as I can with them. I used the stock hardware on my 40. I carefully pried open the hardware to clean the rust between the folded sheet metal and the metal rings, then painted them FYI.
Thanks, Ken

The current list. @Living in the Past 2 sets' @Brass 1 set, @TwelveGravity 1 set using his stk hardware. Please confirm.

I will probably wait a week or 10 days b4 I order parts to allow for other folks to chime in. I will be making a few extra sets too.

Mine arrived today less than 48 hours after paying for them.

Packing was great. Inside a bag inside a USPS box. Box had packing tape on the ends to prevent them from opening going thru any machines. Bag was taped to inside of the box to prevent slide if for some reason the box did get opened. Hadn't thought about doing that before.
Would be interested in a couple of D rings if they are the same size as original? My 10/75 (76 model) had all the hardware minus two D rings. Unfortunately it's at another location. To compare them.

Wouldn't need to open the ends. For being over fifty years old it's in pretty good shape.
