I suspect that galvanic corrosion due to dissimilar metals isn't as big a deal as it is made out to be. In this case, no electron flow to speak of and the absence of an electrolyte, it shouldn't be a large deal. It might be a problem if he lived in San Francisco.

GottchaGalvanic corrosion is not what I was concerned with. The mount rubbing a hole in his radiator is![]()

I would say no matter what if you flip that sucker on its lid or on its side that radiator is not going anywhere.
