Brakes bled. Had a few surprise leaks there, and also the brakes get SOOOPER firm to where they wont engage the brake lights???

Is that the booster?
The first couple depressions of the pedal, the travel feels what I would think to be normal, and the brake lights light up as they should. After they get pumped up a bit, I really have to depress the pedal to get the lights on. Abnormally hard and not at all practical for driving.

What that has now done is putting forces (when in drive which is most common) from the lower bar pushing right where the two tubes combine making a weak area. If the lower was the one attached to the shackle it would make it stronger. Now both of your bars are pretty long and meet close to the joint at the shackle and your truck is light so you may not have an issue. However you see what I'm saying. And yes I know the upper will have the "pull" effect as the lower has the "push" effect, but it seems to me that the push would have more prominence over the pull. Take a look at a few failed trac bar designs if your hazy still.

Kind of a surreal experience!

I think you should rip it out and start over, then the official lighting up ceremony would be postponed.I see what you're saying.
However... It getting run the way it is. It's the same design I used on the blotch rig too, and never had any issues. But, that didn't have a v8 in it either. Guess I'll find out. The one thing I have see w failed wrap bars is if there is too much length at the shackle end tube, that fails and breaks. Why I ran the two up so tight to the end.
I think it'll be fine though.
